From October 16 to 20, over 60 participants from 28 European countries gathered in Greece for the 2nd European Sustainability Forum. The event provided a platform for staff and volunteers from National Scout Organizations (NSOs) and National Scout Associations (NSAs) working on sustainable development to connect, share challenges, and exchange best practices.

The Academy is a unique Scout and Guide event designed to provide participants with high-quality training and networking opportunities around the core priorities of the WAGGGS and WOSM European Regions. From November 14 to 19, 190 Scouts and Guides from 38 countries delved into crucial topics like safeguarding, advocacy, mental health, peace education, and project management.

9th Africa Scout Jamboree held from 2 - 11 August 2024 at Bungere National Scout Centre in Gitega, Burundi under the theme Safe Spaces, New Experiences. The Africa Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organized by the Africa Scout Region, gathering thousands of young people from all over Africa and the world. It is an educational event to promote education, peace and understanding. The Jamboree includes a wide variety of activities and places great importance on the everyday life and interaction on the campsite. It was the second time that Association des Scout du Burundi hosted the jamboree after successfully delivering the sixth edition back in 2012

The Roverway is a ten-day international adventure for scouts and guides aged 16 to 22. The Roverway is organised every 4 years at a different location. The 7th Roverway takes place in Norway from July 22 to August 2, 2024. The main campsite is in Stavanger, Norway. At the start, international patrols explore Norway via multi-day hiking trails. Afterwards, they return to the campsite in Stavanger where they get to know all the other participants.

The SCENES Seminar held at Scouts et Guides de France in Jambville from April 20 to 23, 2024, brought together 25 participants from around the globe to bolster environmental education efforts—discussions centered on implementing SDGs and fortifying global networks. The 25th World Scout Jamboree will take place from 1 to 12 August 2023, in SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea! This is the second time the Korea Scout Association will be the Host, as the 17th World Scout Jamboree was held in the country back in 1991. It will also mark the 100th anniversary of the Korea Scout Association, a milestone we will all celebrate together in 2023.

Plastic Tide Turners Workshop held in Embu, Kenya

Kenyan Scouts and Girl Guides taking part in Tide Turners Plastic Challenge initiative, in collaboration with UN Environment Programme and the UK in Kenya, organized a river clean-up at City Park in Parklands, Nairobi County on March 1, 2024 on the occasion of United Kingdom’s delegation attending UNEA-6. The Closing ceremony of the 25th World Scout Jamboree reunites Scouts at Seoul World Cup Stadium

Nearly 40,000 participants have safely departed from the 25th World Scout Jamboree campsite in SaeManGeum and are being relocated to multiple sites in Seoul and the surrounding areas ahead of the expected arrival of Typhoon Khanun. The Korean Government, supported by hundreds of volunteer Scouts on the ground, facilitated the successful departure of participants ensuring that everyone left the campsite safely and securely.

Due to the expected impact of Typhoon Khanun, an early departure were implemented for all participants at the 25th World Scout Jamboree from the campsite in SaeManGeum.
