  • Kenyan Scouts and Girl Guides taking part in Tide Turners Plastic Challenge initiative, in collaboration with UN Environment Programme and the UK in Kenya, organized a river clean-up at City Park in Parklands, Nairobi County on March 1, 2024 on the occasion of United Kingdom’s delegation attending UNEA-6. The Tide Turner champions led the clean-up of Nairobi River alongside Ms. Rebecca Pow, MP, Minister of Environment of the United Kingdom to raise awareness on plastic pollution.
