Africa Scout Foundation Gathering and recognition ceremony held during the 9th Africa Scout Jamboree at the Bungere National Scout Centre in Makebuko, Gitega, Burundi

The Academy is a unique Scout and Guide event designed to provide participants with high-quality training and networking opportunities around the core priorities of the WAGGGS and WOSM European Regions. From November 14 to 19, 190 Scouts and Guides from 38 countries delved into crucial topics like safeguarding, advocacy, mental health, peace education, and project management.

34 young people from 23 African countries took part in Africa Regional International Leadership Training held from 2 to 6 August 2024 at Matergo Hotel on the sidelines of the 9th Africa Scout Jamboree in Gitega, Burundi.

9th Africa Scout Jamboree held from 2 - 11 August 2024 at Bungere National Scout Centre in Gitega, Burundi under the theme Safe Spaces, New Experiences. The Africa Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organized by the Africa Scout Region, gathering thousands of young people from all over Africa and the world. It is an educational event to promote education, peace and understanding. The Jamboree includes a wide variety of activities and places great importance on the everyday life and interaction on the campsite. It was the second time that Association des Scout du Burundi hosted the jamboree after successfully delivering the sixth edition back in 2012

Africa Regional Environmental Advocacy Training held on 14-15 March 2024 at the Emeraude Hotel in Bujumbura, Burundi during the Africa Scout Day Celebrations.

The Africa Scout Academy is a capacity building event of the Africa Scout Region. It brings together adult leaders and young people from National Scout Organizations to strengthen their skills and competencies to deliver better Scouting in their countries. This first edition held from 7-11 december 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya had four workshops focused on 5 key themes of Ticket to Life, Constitutional Review, Safe from Harm and the Youth Programme, and Messengers of Peace Scouts for SDGs).
